Desmania presents Daylii – Autonomous Tea Machine at International Railway Equipment Exhibition – IREE 2023 at Pragati Maidan

India’s most innovative design studio, Desmania etches its name on a major milestone as its journey embarks on the tracks of Indian Railway! Desmania is all set to showcase its prowess in designing railway equipment – the ‘Tapri Chai’ Tea Machine named Daylii that cooks tea just the way a Tapri does! Desmania Innovation Labs will present India’s biggest innovation in cooktech, Daylii – a one of its kind piece of art along with their train design capabilities as a design consultancy at International Railway Equipment Exhibition – IREE 2023 at Pragati Maidan, Stall 3.33, Hall 3 from October 12th to 14th, 2023.

Daylii Autonomous Tea Machine has been designed keeping in mind the Indian Railway landscape that thrives on tea for two reasons, the need of a staple hot beverage and the nostalgia attached to every time one hears the sound of ‘Chai Garam’ as the train halts. With the advent of the concept of separate tea in the trains, the taste of one’s own preference of tea has diminished while considerably enhancing the carbon footprint brought about by all the packaging separate tea involves. Daylii allows consumers to regulate the taste by altering its strength, sweetness and quantity of milk as per their preference at the click of a button letting out only compostable waste. What a delight to have one’s own tailor-made tea at every station!

Daylii is a design-led innovation that stands on a strong foundation of over 4 years of deep R&D, 5 distinct patents, early failures and multiple prototypes. The design is proven through rigorous field testing and is patronised by over 50 happy customers.
